We handcraft much of the vintage equipment we use on our safaris and around our campground. They are rugged designs using traditional materials that hold up in the conditions in which we operate.

A combination of the best features of the vintage late 1800's Roorkhee chair and the safari chair of the 1930's. We added the feature of captive brass hardware so you cannot lose it on safari. Solid rock maple turnings, conical mortise and tenon like the originals, #8 heavy cotton duck seat and back, solid brass hardware and harness leather for the arm slings. The standard finish is linseed oil and beeswax but you can also have the chair in rosewood color with polyurethane varnish. They are comfortable, knock down for transport in a nice bag which is supplied. The arms fit under our folding camp table and can be used as dining chairs.
